Information for Schools and Colleges

Eligibility Checker

Find out if you're eligible to take part in the PARTNERS Programme. You must meet any one of the eligibility criteria and all of the essential conditions.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for our PARTNERS Programme supported entry route for 2021 entry you must meet one (or more) of the following criteria.

Essential Conditions

In addition to the eligibility criteria, to take part in the Programme you must meet all of the following conditions.

To apply through the PARTNERS Programme you must:

  • be resident in the UK
  • have home student fee status (by ‘home student fee status’ we mean that you have the right to reside in the UK, or have been granted permission from the Home Office)
  • not hold a higher education qualification (eg a degree or higher degree)

Predicted Grades

You must have predicted grades that are within one grade of the lower PARTNERS offer.

This means that your predicted grades must be no more than one grade lower than the PARTNERS Offer.

  • For example, if you're applying to Biomedical Sciences (B940)  (PARTNERS offer: BBB) your predicted grades must be BBC or above.

UCAS Deadlines

You must submit both your UCAS and PARTNERS application forms by the relevant UCAS deadlines:

  • Medicine (A100) and Dentistry - 15 October 2020
  • All other courses - 29 January 2021

Any PARTNERS application received after these dates will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

To take advantage of the PARTNERS offer, you must:

  • Make Newcastle University your firm choice (CF) through UCAS when you make your final decisions in spring.
  • Successfully complete the PARTNERS Academic Summer School.
