Real Deal Parent and Carer Event

Return to Teachers Toolkit Search

Date/Time: Saturday, 8 October, 2016 - 09:30 to 13:30

It's not just students who need the answers...

Parents and carers often have just as many questions about the decisions their child/ward is making and most importantly, whether their decisions are the right ones.

The Real Deal event can help you support your child/ward in the decisions they will have to make. The event will provide relevant information about higher education and Newcastle University and explain where to look for further details.

The event is for parents of pupils who are currently studying in Year 10 to Year 13/second-year college but open to anyone who has an interest in finding out more.

The programme offers a range of informal sessions, to give you the opportunity to have your questions answered.

Please note: We use the terms parent, son and daughter for simplicity, but appreciate that many of you may be carers, legal guardians or step-parents. The information is aimed at anyone who fulfils a parenting role for a young person in the UK considering a university education.
