Sixth Form Study Skills Day

Description: 

Study Skills Days provide your students with the opportunity to visit our campus, meet current students and also begin to develop the skills they will need both in years 12/13 and for their transition to higher education. They will attend sessions on research skills, finding resources, plagiarism and referencing, as well as note-taking and academic writing. There will also be the opportunity to have a campus tour.

These sessions are ideal for teachers who wish to bring larger groups (over 50 students) to get a taster of university and to develop the skills they need to succeed in their sixth form studies.
