Description:

Students will be introduced to the principles of geographic data and experience the difficulties associated with planning a new building development. These exercises are perfect for schools with limited computer access and can be tailored to fit your syllabus. Popular topics include; choosing a site for a housing development or choosing a suitable site for a Metro extension. The exercise is followed by a short demonstration highlighting the huge advantages of using GIS technology to make such decisions.
