Background

Dr. Alan Cromlish is the current Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Student and Academic Services of Newcastle University in Singapore.  His role overseas marketing, undergraduate programs, graduate programs, and teaching and learning. 

Previously, Alan worked in Korea managing and growing undergraduate and graduate programs with an emphasis on academic excellence and student support.  He then worked for Aalto University in Finland where he worked on student success, health promotion, and student services.  He also consulted organizations throughout Asia to improve their human capital's performance and sustainability in Asia. 

Alan received his doctorate in Global Education from the University of Southern California.  His area of expertise focuses on improving wellbeing in higher educational students.  He also has a M.Ed. from the University of Missouri and a B.S. in Psychology from Georgia College and State University.
