We live in a world driven by data and analytics. Data today is collected and used more widely than ever before. When presented correctly, data immediately transforms into valuable information for decision making, gaining insight, creating a competitive advantage.

We are delighted to welcome Professor Nick Holliman back to Singapore specially to deliver a one-day workshop at Newcastle Research & Innovation Institute. Visualization Tools and Techniques will enable participants to better understand their own data and includes an interactive introduction to Microsoft Power BI to create their own visualizations.

Whether you are a beginner or an experienced user, our one-day workshop has been designed to provide you with new knowledge and skills to explore and visualize your data.

Speaker

Our one-day course will be delivered by Professor Nick Holliman, Professor of Visualization at the School of Computing Science, Newcastle University. His research areas include the science and engineering of interactive media including the fundamental challenges of stereoscopic 3D visualization. He has worked in both industrial and academic environments and is experienced in delivering commercial impact from research outputs.

In 2017, Professor Holliman was presented with an award by the Society for Imaging Science & Technology, in recognition of his service as the Chair for the Electronic Imaging Symposium's Stereoscopic Displays and Applications Conference, since 2008.
