HSK 1 Preparation class

This preparation class is suitable for learners without any formal Chinese learning experience.

Practical skills

  • basic polite expressions
  • basic knowledge for daily shopping

Linguistic knowledge

You'll learn:

  • Chinese phonetics, tones and rhythms
  • the conception of Chinese noun, verb, adverb
  • basic simplified Chinese characters
  • a vocabulary of around 150 words

Registration

To register:

HSK 2 Preparation Class

This course is suitable for students who have had 30-34 class hours of Chinese learning and mastered approximately 150 words.

  • how to order food in a restaurant
  • to talk about weather, transportation and health
  • how to ask for direction and distance
  • basic employment and study vocabulary

Linguistic knowledge

You'll learn

  • the basic types of verbs
  • the basic rules of question sentences
  • the use of quantifiers
  • around 300 words

HSK 3 Preparation Class

This course is suitable for students who have had 70 class hours of Chinese learning and mastered approximately 300 words.

  • detailed health statements
  • to express opinions
  • a basic knowledge of Chinese culture

  • simple polyphonic words and proverbs
  • the basic types of nouns

  • simple use of prepositions and conjunctions
  • basic special sentence patterns
  • the context of complex sentences
  • around 600 words

HSK 4 Preparation Class

This course is suitable for students who have had 110 class hours of Chinese learning and mastered approximately 600 words.
