I am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

In 2014 I won the Newcastle University Teaching Excellence Award for Outstanding Contribution to Feedback. I was nominated for the Teaching Excellence Awards in 2015, 2016 and 2017 (Innovative Teaching, Pastoral Care, Feedback).
