Fancy a multi-sports challenge?

The Campus Sport Tournaments are a chance for your team, club or society to compete in a variety of sports, from dodgeball to rounders, in a battle to be crowned tournament champions.

The tournaments take place on Friday evenings across Terms 1 and 2.

Tournament format

Teams must field one team in a minimum of six of the eight sports, with Team Challenge night and Rounders compulsory.

Team points will be awarded for each sport, and the society with the most points overall will be crowned champions. If a team enters more than 6 tournaments, their top 6 scores will be used.

Essential info

Your team can be made of of the same players competing in different sports, or completely different players for each sport.

  • Netball is female only
  • 5s football is male only
  • Team challenge, dodgeball and rounders are all mixed

Number of players per sport:

  • 5s football – minimum of 5
  • Netball – minimum of 7

- Team Challenge – minimum of 8 (minimum of 2 females per team)

  • Dodgeball – minimum of 6 (minimum of 2 females per team)
  • Rounders – minimum of 8, maximum of 10 (minimum of 2 females per team)

Winners’ awards

The winners and runners up in each sport will be awarded medals and there will be an overall trophy for the tournament Champions.

How to enter

To enter the tournament, please email Liam Isaac and Denis Murphy, and let us know what sports you can field a team in. Entry is first come, first served.
