Sellappah Scholarships
A Sellappah Scholarship is available to students from Malaysia, accepted on to an undergraduate degree programme at Newcastle University. Three awards of £1,000 for the first year of study are available. One award will be made for each of the three Faculties – Medical Sciences, Science, Agriculture and Engineering, and Humanities and Social Sciences.
To be eligible for this award you must:
- be an undergraduate applicant and a Malaysian national, entering the university from Malaysia,
- have been offered a place to study at Newcastle University,
- be able to demonstrate financial need for the award.
