Late or Non-Payment of Fees

If you (or your sponsor) are unable to pay your tuition fees on the scheduled instalment days you should contact the Tuition Fees Team immediately, and at least seven working days before the due date.

It you are unable to pay the fees in full please contact the Tuition Fees Team to discuss your situation; they may be able to agree to an instalment plan to help you pay the fees or offer other advice. You do not need to make an appointment to speak to a member of the team. The office is open from 9.00am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Private interview rooms are available.

Late payment charges

A late charge of £25 may be incurred for any instalments not received by the due date.

Please note that any Direct Debits or cheques which are returned to the University unpaid will be classified as late payments, and the relevant late payment charge of £25 may be made. Defaulting on Direct Debit payments may result in this facility being refused as a payment option in future years.

Deactivation of University facilities

If instalments remain unpaid the University may also remove your ISS and Library facilities until the outstanding amounts have been paid in full. This means you will be unable to access your computer logins (e-mail, Blackboard and filestore etc), the University libraries and some University buildings.

If your access is removed you will need to pay the outstanding amount of fees to reactivate access. When you have paid, contact the Tuition Fees Team so we can arrange reactivation.
