We are committed to providing a friendly and accessible service to assist students with a diagnosis of Aspergers Syndrome/ASD in achieving their potential.

Possible support may include:

• One to one support with a qualified tutor/mentor
• Transitional and social support
Assisting with exam concessions
• Advice on applying for Disabled Students Allowance (DSA)
• Advice and support for students who think they may have Aspergers Syndrome/ASD
• Advice and information for academic staff


Aspergers and Autism Support Network (AASN)

A friendly and informal social group where students can meet over a drink and snack.

We meet fortnightly, on the following dates:

Semester 1 AASN meetings will take place on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 10th October 2018 3pm-5pm
  • Wednesday 24th October 2018 2pm-5pm
  • Wednesday 21st November 2018 3pm-5pm
  • Wednesday 5th December 2018 3pm-5pm

Semester 2 AASN meetings will take place on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 30th January 2019 3pm-5pm
  • Wednesday 13th February 2019 4pm-6pm
  • Wednesday 27th February 2019 3pm-5pm

Connect Social Mentoring

This is a mentoring scheme designed to develop social skills, communication and confidence. Mentors can attend social events with students or work individually to develop social skills.
