Summer Term Online

Be Connected During the Summer Term 2021 - Online

The Be Connected programme will help you discover what help, support and social activities are available to you across the university and the changes to the services as the restrictions are lifting.

The majority of teaching may be online but the University, support services and NUSU are all very much open!

Currently support and social activities are available online, but more in person events and activities will take place as restrictions lift. We're aware that a lot of students will be completing their academic year remotely so have compiled a list of what social activities and support sessions are available online throughout the summer term below:

For students coming to or are already in Newcastle please check out our Be Connected - In Person page.

Information on the help, support and social activities available over the summer term will be updated regularly - please keep checking back to this page to stay up to date with it!

Solidariteam is a new campaign run by the Chaplaincy. We are encouraging a university-wide volunteering project for all students and staff. By taking part in this, you will become a member of Solidariteam and receive rewards for your participation. Most importantly of all, through your involvement in this, you can make real, positive change to people who most need a helping hand. It's taking place from May 24th- June 21st. For more information on how to get involved and give back to our neighbours by coming together as a community committed to showing solidarity and helping people and our environment see the Solidariteam information
