We offer a full suite of support services to help you make the most of your time with us, whether:
- it's your first time living away from home
- you're joining us from a different country
- you're returning to education
A welcoming induction
When you arrive you’ll be invited to an induction week, designed to help you settle in before your course starts.
It includes a tour of the facilities and the local area, as well as an introduction to your lecturers and student support. There are also lots of fun activities designed to help you get to know your fellow students, so you can start to feel at home straightaway.
If you’re joining us from outside the UK, we’ll also help you with practical tasks like registering with a doctor and opening a bank account.
Tutors and peers provide support from an academic perspective.
You’ll be assigned a personal tutor, who you’ll meet with regularly, to help you with your academic development.
