Edward Long Scholarship

The Edward Long Scholarship is provided by Paul Long (BA History, 1979) to offer scholarship funding to two undergraduate students from the North East with an annual scholarship of £5,000 for three years.

The Edward Long Scholarship is provided by Paul Long (BA History, 1979) to offer scholarship funding to two undergraduate students from the North East with an annual scholarship of £5,000 for three years.

Two scholarships are available to stage 1 undergraduate students from the North East.  

The awards are for £5,000 per year for three years of study.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this award you must:

  • Be an undergraduate home (UK based) student, entering stage 1 of study in 2022-23.
  • Be from the North East.
  • Be from a care-experienced background.
