A number of subjects and degrees offer financial support or prizes to students. Information on specific eligibility criteria is available from the links below.

Engineering

Engineering Excellence Scholarship - an award of £1,000 for new Home and EU undergraduates admitted on to a degree offered by Newcastle University’s School of Engineering.

The Wood Fund Bursary - £3,000 bursaries for undergraduate students across a range of Engineering disciplines

Electrical and Electronic Engineering

E3 Academy Sponsorship - this sponsorship scheme is worth up to £5,000 per year for undergraduate EEE students.

Sevcon Sponsorship is a generous student sponsorship scheme including fee waivers and paid work placements for undergraduate EEE students.

Mathematics and Statistics

Mathematics and Statistics Excellence Scholarships - An award of £1,000 for all new Home and EU fee paying undergraduates admitted onto a Mathematics and Statistics degree programme with one of the following course codes: NG41, GL11, G100, G103, GG13, GGC3, G1N3, G1N2 and G300.

Medical Sciences

Faculty of Medical Sciences Undergraduate Excellence Scholarships - scholarships for international students worth £2,000 for each year of study 

Natural and Environmental Science

Science Excellence Scholarship - an award of £1,000 for all new Home and EU fee paying undergraduates admitted on to a degree offered by Newcastle University’s School of Natural and Environmental Sciences.

Physics

Physics Excellence Scholarships - an award of £2,000 for all new Home and EU undergraduate students admitted on to a Physics degree programme who meet the conditions of their original offer in all subjects and make Newcastle University their first choice (Conditional Firm) by 1 August 2019.

Music

Undergraduate Music Scholarships - four £5,000 scholarships are available to new undergraduate students entering a degree offered by Newcastle University’s International Centre for Music Studies in September 2019.
