Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships

Scholarships of £1,500 - £5,000 towards tuition fees are available for students from India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

We are pleased to offer 200 partial Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships to assist international students to study an undergraduate degree or postgraduate Master’s degree.

Application closing date

There is no closing date for this award. You are automatically considered for a scholarship if you meet the eligibility criteria. Awards may be allocated early so apply for your course now.

Eligibility criteria

To be considered for awards applicants must:

  • be a national of one of the following countries: India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand or Vietnam
  • have been offered a place to study on an eligible undergraduate or Master’s degree course at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2019/20 academic year
  • be assessed as international for fee purposes

Eligible candidates will be assessed as part of their academic application.

How to apply

If you meet our eligibility criteria you will automatically be considered for a Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship.  You don’t need to complete another form, simply apply for your course and we’ll be in touch if you are successful.
