This stage 2 module provides only the introduction component of the stage 3 Professional Skill in Psychology module (PSY3029). It contains no assessed components.
The module’s aims are: (1) to ensure that students gain the necessary skills and experience required for their Stage 3 Empirical Projects (e.g. ethics approvals and risk assessment processes, constructing research proposals, scientific methodology and design) and (2) to bring their employability skills (e.g. oral presentations, CV writing and awareness of their relevant work experience and transferrable skills) to the fore by reflecting upon the Psychological skills they have acquired during their studies.
