Meet Us

Engage with us before you arrive.

You may wish to arrange a visit to the campus and take a tour with one of our students.

If you are unable to travel to the Newcastle to visit, our website has a range of virtual tours, allowing you to explore the city, facilities and accommodation.

Online events

You can follow us on social media to keep up to date with the latest news. You will also receive an invitation to join an official social media group for offer holders, where you can get updates from the University and connect with other applicants.

Depending on which course you have applied for, we might contact you to offer you the chance to speak with a current student, attend an online event or join a live chat.

You can find student blogs, articles and quizzes on the On Course to NCL website.

Before You Arrive

You’ll receive arrival information by email with everything you need to know before arriving in Newcastle.

Provisionally registering

We’ll ask you to provisionally register online before arriving at Newcastle University. This will save you time when you get to the University.

You’ll receive registration instructions by email approximately six weeks before your course starts.

If you’re an INTO Newcastle University student, you’ll receive registration instructions for further study after you’ve completed your INTO course.

The registration email will also tell you how to access your University email account.

Don’t worry if you can’t register online. You can do this on campus when you arrive.

EU students

If you're an EU student, we'll send you information about your journey to Newcastle and our International Welcome programme, which starts one week before term begins. International Welcome is a programme of events designed to help you settle into life at Newcastle.

Once you’re here, you can join our Freshers’ Week. It’s run by our Students’ Union, with a full schedule of activities to help you settle in and make friends.

When you arrive, you’ll also need to complete your registration.

Paying your tuition fees

As part of the registration process you will be asked to pay your tuition fees. There is more information about how to do this on our Pre-Arrival website.

You can get a 2% discount off your annual tuition fees if you pay them in full before the 26 November 2018*.

Further details can be found on our fees pages.
