Schools
Many excellent schools exist in both the state and private sectors.

Childcare
Located adjacent to the Newcastle University campus is the Childsplay Nursery. This is an independent nursery, popular with staff, run by a parents' co-operative.
The University offers childcare vouchers. Staff buy these via a 'salary sacrifice' arrangement.
