 Roles and Responsibilities

Provide Psychotherapy for all Registered Students. Working Online & Face to face.

Set up Online Therapy Provision for the Service and have managerial lead for this.

I began working at the University in 2011.  In a previous life I had been an Intensive Care Nurse - however I commenced re-training as a Psychotherapist in 2001. I have worked with individuals, couples and groups.  In my current post the majority of my work is assessing and providing Therapy for individual students experiencing varying levels of psychological difficulties, for a number of different reasons.  I enjoy the energy and motivation that students often bring to the therapy room and when appropriate I can use laughter to lighten the load and help strengthen the Therapist - student relationship.
