Student Wellbeing

Good Mood Mondays

Good Mood Mondays is a new social group for students with a mental health disability that is facilitated by Mental Health Disability Practitioners.
The aim of the group is for students to meet in an informal space to talk, complete activities, and learn more about the wellbeing support available to them. The group will be meeting every two weeks on Monday afternoons, term-time only, and the meetings will be 1.5 hours long.
Each meeting will include time to talk/socialise and one or more of the following activities: arts and crafts, board games, mindfulness/relaxation sessions and guest speakers from the university. Students can leave at any part of the session.
We are now taking referrals for students who have a mental health disability, particularly those who are socially isolated. Students can currently only be referred by their Disability Practitioner.
