Natural History Society of Northumbria Guided Walk

Natural History Society of Northumbria Guided Walk

Friday 20 March 2020

In light of the ongoing concerns around Coronavirus, Newcastle University has taken the decision to cancel all non-essential events until the end of term (27 March).

This decision applies to events within Climate Action Week NCL.

While this is obviously disappointing news, the University is committed to taking every precaution to limit the spread of the virus within our community and to protect the wellbeing of our students, colleagues and members of the public who visit our campus.

Thank you for your understanding. We will look forward to welcoming you back to our events as soon as they resume.

For Newcastle University students

  • Leaving from Newcastle University Students’ Union
  • Friday 20 March 2020; 09:30-12:30
  • Bus leaves at 08:30

This event is organised with Go Volunteer so you’ll be travelling on the NUSU bus. The bus leaves at 8.30am from outside the SU.

Enjoy a guided walk around Gosforth Park Nature Reserve (GPNR). It’s a great de-stress activity where you can enjoy nature plus find out about volunteering opportunities.

GPNR is a Site of Special Scientific Interest where you may well see roe deer, red fox and a plethora of amazing birds.

Find out more about GPNR and the Natural History Society of Northumbria who manage it.
