2.       Stating and describing the activities involved in project management (C1)
3.       Calculation of progress on a project and forecast to completion (C15)
4.       Interpreting working drawings and other production information (C4)
5.       The principles of and the role of quality assurance (C5, C14)
6.       The principles and application of statistical process control (C1, C14)
7.       Conducting and understanding risk assessments (C5, C9)
8.       Issues and personal responsibility relating to health, safety and environment (C5, C7)
9.       Understanding of the key clauses in a shipbuilding contract (C15)
10.       Understanding the patterns and drivers of the shipbuilding markets (C15)
