Your

Leaving home

We may contact you to discuss your offer and next

steps and we also run pre-departure briefings in

some of our most visited countries.

Our pre-arrival website is updated regularly over

the summer months and includes all of the latest news and advice: www.ncl.ac.uk/pre-arrival/ international/info

Making connections

Opportunities to meet new people, socialise, try

new activities, make the most of the city and explore

the UK are also available throughout the year at

Newcastle University Students’ Union (NUSU).

With over 170 clubs and societies, including a dedicated

International Society and an International Officer

(to represent the views of international students),

the Union is the place to be whether you want to try

a new activity, work on an assignment, or simply grab

a sandwich and relax.

If you’re coming to Newcastle with your family and

children, you’ll be in good company as there are lots of student parents studying with us. To find out what support is available review our student parent pages www.ncl.ac.uk/students/wellbeing/about/ studentparents

The Students’ Union also runs a baby equipment

loan service and arranges family-friendly activities

throughout the year.
