Jisc Online Surveys upgrade

UPDATE 11th March 2024:

Following the recent technical issues experienced with Online Surveys v2, Jisc have provided the following update:

"We are increasing measures to mitigate the impact on users of any potential future issues with v2. This includes bringing forward the last date for when new surveys can be created to Tuesday 2 April. From that date you will no longer be able to create new surveys in v2. It will be fully retired on 31 July."

Jisc have also advised that, as well as the support methods outlined below, they are running drop-in clinics to provide assistance with transitioning to v3 - these can be accessed and booked here

UPDATE 9th February 2024:

We have received an update from Jisc to advise that they have amended their schedule for the retirement of v2 and the move to v3.

1. Creating new surveys in v2 will be disabled on 30th April 2024
2. Online Surveys v2 will be discontinued on 31st July 2024

Prior to the retirement of v2, registered users may need to follow Jisc’s online guides on exporting survey data and reusing any v2 survey structures that they wish to continue using in v3 (https://onlinesurveys.jisc.ac.uk/helpandsupport/migration-faq/).

ORIGINAL MESSAGE:

Jisc have informed us that they are moving their Online Surveys system from v2 to v3. Registered users of the system will receive an email notification when the new version is available.

It is expected that Jisc will be closing v2 on 29^th February 2024, and they will be preventing the creation of new surveys in v2 prior to this date.
