Medicine Through Time

This workshop allows students to study the history of medicine, specifically looking at surgery, anatomy, infection and disease and public health.

The workshop offers a unique opportunity to access resources of international significance with a local interest centred upon the North East. Students will engage with primary source material before visiting a NU science lab to compare past and present medicine focusing upon either surgery or infection and disease.
