Non-overdue books may be renewed at a self issue unit available at the Law,
Robinson and Walton Libraries as long as overdue charges do not exceed £5.00.
There
are clear instructions available on how to use these
machines.
- Put your Smartcard under red scan light
- Place the book (barcode uppermost) under the red scan light
- Take the printed receipt with the due date and write the date on the date label
- you have outstanding overdue charges in excess of £5.00
- the book has been requested by another reader
- your smartcard has expired
- you have reached the maximum renewal limit on that item
