Staff
The following offerings are available to all staff.
Home Folders
All staff are allocated a Home Folder so that they have a secure place in which to keep their University work.
This is recommended for storing files unique to you that you use often, it is not suitable for collaboration as only you have access to the folder.
Home folder can be accessed on any campus Windows computer and can be found mapped to H:\ drive.
Unix Home Folders
University staff or students who make use of the Unix service are allocated a Unix Home Folder so that they have a secure place in which to keep their Unix based work.
This is not suitable for collaboration as only you have access to your Unix Home Folder.
OneDrive
All students and staff have access to Microsoft OneDrive, providing them with 5TB (5,000 Gigabytes) of secure online cloud storage.
Shared Filestore
This offering provides areas of filestore which staff can use to share documents, or work in other cooperative ways such as joint authorship, contributory data archives, etc.
