Dr. Neveen Hamza, Reader in Architecture, Energy and Wellbeing, is elected as the Chair of the International Building Performance Association - England. She is an international expert and scholar in building and urban energy performance simulation. She has previously been a board director and Vice chair for the organisation since 2009.
The International Building Performance Association promotes the exchange of knowledge on building, urban environmental and energy performance of structures.
IBPSA-England is a major affiliate of the 28 world wide branches in IBPSA-World organisation. The organisation has its own scientific journal 'Journal of Building Performance Simulation' and hosts an international conference bi-annually.
IBPSA-England activities started in the 1990s and includes a board of directors of highly acclaimed internationally renowned British scholars.
