Charlotte Veal and Maggie Roe join the International Association for Landscape Ecology 2023 World Congress
The IALE 2023 World Congress is taking place 10 - 15 July in Nairobi, Kenya

Charlotte Veal and Maggie Roe are presenting papers at the IALE 2023 World Congress ‘Transboundary Resource Management, Climate Change and Environmental Resilience’ in Nairobi, Kenya 10th-15th July.
Maggie is co-hosting the symposium ‘The impact of drivers of landscape change on landscape futures’ within the conference with Dr Merham Keleg who is a Lecturer at Urban Planning and Design Department, Ain Shams University, Cairo.
All three are also running an ECR Workshop –‘ Developing a Strategy for Writing Papers & Research Outputs’ during the conference with Dr Andrew Butler from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Alnarp.
Workshop Aims: A hands on capacity building workshop for graduate students and early career researchers to advise on how to write and submit articles to scientific journals, using Landscape Research Journal as a case study. The session will be based around sharing knowledge and understandings of written outputs from research, and will examine the key issues to overcome and provide opportunities to discuss the development of skills and strategies for improving writing skills and output strategy.
