The School of Biomedical Sciences has a partnership with Newcastle Biomedicine Research Institutes to deliver high quality undergraduate degree programmes to well-qualified students.

medical school entrance by dayOur BSc Honours courses echo the research strengths of our Institutes in the broad area of biosciences. We are part of the Faculty of Medical Sciences and this is reflected in the direct relevance of much of our research and teaching to medical and health sciences.

We have strong links with medical courses and our Pre-Med Study Abroad programme is popular for US students wishing to study in a high-quality UK university. In addition there are opportunities for current Medical and Dental undergraduates to study for one of our many BSc courses in biomedical sciences.
