However, approaching a potential contact, whether that is a friend of a friend or a future employer, whether face-to-face or online, can be a daunting process. What is the best way to make that important first impression? How can you build on that meeting? This 30 minute workshop will suggest a number of practical tips on how best to impress your contacts as well as techniques in finding and building your network through face-to-face and online tools such as LinkedIn and Graduate Connections.
