The research project Cultural Narratives of Crisis and Renewal (CRIC) was awarded 1 044 000 euros by the RISE scheme (Research and Innovation Staff Exchanges), one of the H2020 European Union Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions, to develop research and training activities over 48 months (2015-2018), benefiting 65 researchers in four European and four Latin American universities. Coordinated from the School of Modern Languages at Newcastle University, the CRIC consortium comprises a community of academics, PhD students and cultural practitioners in Spain, the Netherlands, Peru, Argentina and Chile.
