International Accreditation

We are part of an elite group of Business Schools worldwide that hold triple accreditation from the three internationally recognised accreditation bodies.

Being triple accredited is a shining endorsement of the quality of our School and programmes. We’re in the top 1% of business schools who hold triple accreditation and are one of only 20 in the UK.

The process to be awarded with triple accredited status involves a meticulous assessment of the School’s activities and its programmes. During the assessment a panel visits the School and interviews staff, current students, alumni and corporate clients.

Our accreditation status is a recognition of the high-quality of everything we do. It also boosts the reputation of the University around the world and benefits the wider business community in the city and region.

We see ourselves as part of the North East economic community and our accreditation status will help us contribute to real regional development.

Programme Level Accreditation

Our accreditation demonstrates our commitment to providing an exceptional education. It also confirms that our programmes meet the standards set by professional bodies.

Programmes at Newcastle University Business School are significantly influenced and shaped by the needs of professional bodies and the global employment market.

Our accredited degrees share close links with industry, meaning that our students are exposed to cutting edge business developments. Students graduating from accredited courses are also eligible to apply for membership of a professional body and may be exempt from professional exams or further academic study.
