Date/Time: Monday 15 May 2017, 13.30 - 17.00

Venue: NCVO, Society Building, 8 All Saints Street, London N1 9RL

How can funders and commissioners address complex social challenges – situations in which the complexity of people’s real lives matter, which involving multiple, ever-changing stakeholders, and where what’s possible keeps shifting?

Join us in London as Newcastle University and Collaborate launch of their new report ‘A Whole New World: Funding and Commissioning in Complex Systems’.

Drawing on research from a range of charitable funders and public sector commissioners, the report identifies the emergence of a new ‘complexity-friendly’ paradigm for the funding and performance management of social interventions. This emerging thinking and practice offers a new way to think about how to fund and commission interventions which address wicked, complex problems in dynamic, fast-changing landscapes.

You will hear about the new paradigm from the funders and commissioners themselves, and have the opportunity to delve into the detail of their practice.

The event is free, but places are very limited, so please register to attend here.
