Newcastle ranked the 5th best city in the UK for MBA Entrepreneurs

Instant Offices analysed data from Companies House and compared it against population estimates and business growth to determine which UK citites are the most entrepreneurial.

The UK ranks eight out of 137 countries in the Global Entrepreneurship Index, and within the UK, Newcastle has been ranked as the 5th best city for MBA entrepreneurs by Instant Offices.

Seen as a city actively promoting entrepreneurial activity with the North East Growth Hub offering finance and business support, Newcastle beat both London and Birmingham to claim the 5th spot out of the top 10. The Newcastle Startup Week and Newcastle Scaleup Summits were both highlighted and recognised for inspiring and encouraging more entrepreneurs in the city to start and grow their own businesses.
