CESI Webinar Series Announced

We’re delighted to announce a new series of monthly CESI webinars. These hour-long events include panel discussions and speaker sessions on a range of energy systems integration topics.

The webinars feature contributors from industry, policy and academia, giving their perspectives on different aspects of an integrated energy system.

The inaugural event in the series was a panel discussion, “How the UK will meet its net zero ambitions by 2050 by taking an energy systems integration approach”.  Discussions were chaired by CESI Director and Reader in Energy in the School of Engineering at Newcastle University, Dr Sara Walker and included invited panellists:

Following opening presentations by the panel, delegates took part in a chaired question and answer session. The ensuing thought-provoking discussions included how an integrated energy system can help the UK achieve its net zero emissions targets by 2050. What changes to policy and infrastructure are needed to support a clean energy transition for the UK?  To catch up on the debate, view the recording of the event

For more information on this webinar and the latest information on events in the series, including how to register, please visit CESI Webinar pages. The events are open to all and are free to attend, but registration is essential.
