Farewell from CESI…well not quite!

Over the final few months of CESI we have been busy at several events:

  • EPSRC Engineering Net Zero Showcase - Sara Walker led a panel session during this week
  • As part of the North East Energy Catalyst Group, the Hydrogen working group visited DNV Spadeadam Teamstinf Centre looking at the benefits and dangers of Hydrogen. 
  • Net Zero talk given at the What a Wonderful World Festival in Alnwick
  • UKERC Putting Net Zero into Action. See session 6: Energy infrastructure needs for achieveing net zero, chaired by Sara Walker. 
  • UK Saudi Renewable Energy Forum 
  • Dr Merlinda Andoni has given two recent webinars titled Strategic decision-making on low-carbon technology and network capacity investments using game theory for Dutch Digital Energy Seminars and for the CESI Optimisation Group Webinar series which you can watch here.

Research updates

CESI have been busy publishing in the last few months, you can find a record of all our publications here. No doubt there are more to be published in the next few months.

CESI White Papers will be finalised and published in the next coming weeks. Keep your eyes peeled.

Lastly, the final CESI report will be published in due course.

We would like to thank everyone who has been involved in building the CESI community, contributing to deliverables and working hard over the last 6 years to tackle addressing integration challenges for the UKs energy system.
