Lavinia Greenlaw is a poet, novelist and librettist. Her fourth collection of poems, The Casual Perfect (2011) has been acclaimed for its powerful and original treatment of time and perception. Her novels include Mary George of Allnorthover (2002) and An Irresponsible Age (2006), while her memoir The Importance of Music to Girls appeared in 2007.  She teaches at the University of East Anglia. 

Carola Luther is artist in residence at the Wordsworth Trust in Grasmere, Cumbria.  She has published two collections of poems with Carcanet Press.  Walking the Animals was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection in 2004 and the follow up is Arguing with Malarchy (2011).
