Vacancy: Research Assistant / Research Associate

A vacancy has arisen within the CALIPER project team at Newcaslte University.

The CALIPER project is investigating whether aspects of diet and lifestyle are associated with risk of developing cancer and, in those who have cancer, survival. The project involves analysis of data from the UK Biobank. You will work alongside academics and researchers at Newcastle and Glasgow Universities to deliver the project; the collaboration has already resulted in a number of conference abstracts and papers in high quality journals.

Applicants should have at least 2 years research experience, including substantial experience of analysing quantitative data. Excellent written and spoken communication skills are essential. A PhD in a relevant field is required for appointment at associate level.
