Mathematics, Statistics and Physics

Find out which student exchange partners you can apply to as part of your degree

You can apply to up to five exchange programmes. Some countries are more popular than others, so try to select alternative options from different countries. Some partner universities have limited places, often one or two, so use all five of your application choices and be prepared not to get your first choice.

We keep our exchange partner information as up to date as possible, but sometimes changes happen at short notice.

It's important that you research the universities you're interested in. Don’t rule out locations you may not have heard of - there are some hidden gems on our lists.

When Mathematics, Statistics and Physics students can study abroad

Mathematics, Statistics and Physics students can study at one of our exchange partners for a year:

  • between Stages 2 and 3 of a three-year programme
  • between Stages 3 and 4 of a four-year integrated Masters programme

For all students, a year abroad will make your degree one year longer.
