Aims

This module aims to assist students in the transition into Higher Education in order to improve and enhance their academic skills and personal effectiveness as independent learners. The module will provide students with a clear understanding of the expectations of learning in higher education and effective skills to approach assessment. The module also aims to improve and enhance employability.

Transition to HE, Academic Reading, Critical Thinking and Analysis, Academic Writing,Referencing, Finding and Managing Information, Assessment Types, Digital Literacy, Employability.
