Teaching Rationale And Relationship

Lectures and lecture materials are used to deliver foundation learning material, supported by independent guided reading. Small group seminar sessions will consolidate learning through active learning activities. These sessions will also promote independent learning through the completion of pre-session structured reading and research tasks. Practical sessions will provide students with opportunities to carry out a range of exercise tests and assessments. These will be followed by workshop sessions, in which data collected in the practical sessions will be analysed and explained. Defined hours for reflective learning will promote the student to evaluate their learning so far and identify weaknesses that need to be followed up by further reading. Time has also been specified for assessment preparation.
