Presenter: Dr Patrick Keown, Consultant Psychiatrist in the PRECCIS Clinic, CNTW NHS Foundation Trust and Honorary Senior Lecturer at Newcastle University.

Title of presentation:  SleepWell – development and roll out of a multimodal sleep improvement programme on inpatient wards in CNTW. 

SleepWell is a multimodal intervention to improve sleep on inpatient psychiatric wards developed in CNTW. Dr Keown will describe the different components of SleepWell and an evaluation of its effectiveness and safety. 

Patrick Keown is a Consultant Psychiatrist in the Psychosis Review and Community Clozapine Initiation Service (PRECCIS) Clinic. Honorary Clinical Senior Lecture at Newcastle University with research interest in rates of detention under the Mental Health Act in England, and clinical trials in psychosis.
