About Edgar
I'm Edgar Ndazi, a music producer, teacher and DJ. My journey into music started upon taking violin lessons from the age of 8.
My passion for rap music was ignited through my discovery of the rap group Outkast and continues till today.
Project Description
To produce a definitive record of British rap music from its origins to the present day.
This will be examined through the detailed musicological analysis of the choruses used in British rap songs, considering lyrics, performance and the musical elements contained within the songs.
Though the technical analysis will form the basis, this will then provide an opportunity to consider the impact of songs and subgenres along cultural context, societal and emotional impact, providing a full picture of interpretative understanding.
