Viewing Your Timetable

Information for all students

Student timetables will be available here from 12pm on Monday 18th August. You must have registered to view student timetables, please allow up to 48 hours for timetables to appear.

Information for Faculty of Medical Sciences students only

Students of BSc Psychology and all MSc or MRes courses, please access your timetable using the links on this page.

All other Faculty of Medical Sciences students should refer to local timetable information provided by your school or subject area.

Your personal timetable

You must have completed registration to be able to view your timetable, please allow 24-48 hours before checking online and on the Student Portal.

Your timetabled teaching can take place between 09.00 and 18.30, Monday to Thursday, and 09.00 and 17.30 on Friday. Please check your timetable daily for the the first few weeks as it can be subject to change and allow 48 working hours for any module change to be reflected on your timetable.

If you have any issues with your personal timetable, contact your school office.

Additional Information for Continuing Students

  • Timetables may not be correctly displayed until you have completed your new stage registration.
  • It is your responsibility to check that your optional modules do not clash before requesting a module change. If a combination of modules is not compatible, you must discuss alternatives with your school or subject area.

Seminars and group classes

  • First year timetables for some subject areas may remain incomplete until the end of induction week.
  • You may not be allocated to some seminar, practical or group classes until the end of the first week of each semester.
  • Your school or subject area will inform you of which seminar, practical or group classes you should attend if your personal timetable remains incomplete.
  • If you do sign up to attend a specific session in school, this may not be reflected on your personal timetable until the second week of teaching. You should follow instructions issued by your lecturer, school or subject area until that time.
  • It is important that you attend only those sessions shown on your personal timetable.

You can access your timetable in the following ways:

1. The Student Portal - personal timetable

The easiest and quickest way to access your own personal up-to-date timetable is using the Student Portal. 

It is important that you attend only those sessions shown on your timetable.

2. Web Timetables – searchable module/programme timetables and personal timetable overview

Use the web timetable to search for a module or programme timetable.
It is also useful if you require an overview of your full year or full semester personal timetable.

3. Subscribe to timetables - download to your device

You can subscribe to your personal timetable on a range of calendaring apps for Android and iOS using iCal subscriptions. Follow the relevant link below to add your timetable to your device's calendar.

Each individual service determines when the calendar is updated on your device. It is recommend that you use the Student Portal to view your timetable as it will be correct if there are last minute changes.
