Dr. Jose Fabian is currently a Research Associate in the School of Engineering at Newcastle University. He obtained his M.Sc. in Metallurgical Engineering and his PhD in Metallurgy and Materials Science at IPN-Mexico receiving Cum Laude Honours.
During his postgraduate program, Dr. Jose worked on developing ceramic oxides and dense inorganic membranes applied for the selective separation of carbon dioxide at high temperatures.
In 2022 Dr. Jose Fabian received one Award for the best scientific productivity issued by IPN-Mexico

Dr. Jose Fabian is interested in developing highly selective supported molten-salt membranes for carbon dioxide separation at high temperatures and develop catalytic membrane reactors to obtain Hydrogen and chemical value-added products.
