Background
Dr Kingsley is an experienced electrical and electronics engineer, with expertise in telecommunications, power systems and electric aircraft propulsion.
He obtained a B.Eng in Electrical/Electronics from Madonna University, Nigeria in 2009 and a PhD in Aerospace from Cranfield University UK in 2020.
Kingsley has worked previously with Huawei technologies as a Core Network Engineer. He is currently a Research Associate in Power Electronics at Newcastle University, working on technology integration for electric aircraft propulsion.
Research
My research interests relate to the development and deployment of novel technologies in electric aircraft propulsion. The aim is to mitigate the environmental impact of air transport, through the deployment of aircraft with reduced emissions and noise. Focus is on advanced drive systems component design and the exploration of optimal operational configurations.
