Accessing Information

Under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and also under the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998 - individuals have a general right of access to information that is held by the University.

The University is committed to openness in relation to both its staff, students and the general public. Insofar as is possible, the University will provide an applicant with any information they may request.

Requests may be made under the terms of either Act and application forms are provided on this site to assist you with making them. Before making a request please read the sections below to determine the type of request you're making and which form to use.
